KDE Fedora 43 upgrade was so smooth 🤩! Some companies are famous for trying to make things that "just work", but this particular FOSS, maintained-by-volunteers OS raises the bar to "you don't even know something substantial happened" levels of just works.

@konstantin loved fedora, but had a bit more struggles with it than with Ubuntu. Maybe also because I am more familiar with debian based distributions. Have only tried the Gnome version tho, what are the advantages of KDE?
@tjadejong my other PC at home is a Debian but also runs KDE... so can't really compare them. I think generally, KDE is more about you being in control of what you want, giving you a solid out of the box experience with the options to change it all if needed. @konstantin loving Gnome as well. Maybe can try KDE on one of my machines. I think desktop linux has come a long way. Actually have been using it daily now, haven’t touched my macbook in a while…
