#WritersCoffeeClub October 31: In terms of writing, how did this month go for you?

Mostly badly. Lots of wheel-spinning. Productive strategy meeting with my agent, and a subsequent edit letter, but the WIP I'm trying to pick up again after a 6 month hiatus is being stubbornly recalcitrant and I brought home some sort of virus from a convention that I think cost me about two weeks' effective time.

About to dive back into the WIP instead of tackling the edit letter ...

@ghosttie A letter (from an editor or agent) with editorial suggestions for changes to make to a manuscript, in this case from my agent with ideas about how to make it more marketable (it can be sold as-is, but with some tweaks we might get more money for it).

@cstross can you be non-stubbornly recalcitrant? Sorry it’s not going as well as you’d like, but hopefully your subconscious is working ideas out to the point where writing them down seems natural and fluid. Just like mine never does!😜
