I’m so proud.
Our 18yo played in a school drama production of The Wave tonight, with his entire class.
They were given a lot of room for creative decisions, and made good use of it. The mood was oppressive and scary, and the relevance to current events was crystal clear.
Some people apparently complained that their interpretation was too radical. I told him that if art doesn’t hurt at least a bit, it’s just decoration.
