@wlaatje I don't think there is a contradiction in a simple and intuitive UI and lots of features/functionality, and making more advanced features inaccessible is not a solution IMO. As soon as you need something that's not considered "normal" or the default (which will very likely happen to a lot of people at some point) you are completely lost. IMO the best approach is to have a simple UI that let's you discover more advanced options as you go, while providing sensible defaults.

@wlaatje basically encourage people to learn more (without overwhelming them) and don't hide information or functionality. But I'm not a "normal" person so what do I know? :)
