Hose tap was dripping.
I used the tap (faucet) reseating tool from my local #MenzShed. No more dripping, no trip to hardware shop required. Cost $0
#repair

Finished repair, corrosion pits have been removed, leaving smooth brass valve seat.

Part way through grinding. View of inside of tap body showing the bright brass circular valve seat with dark corrosion tracks across it.
