The government are reportedly planning on moving some asylum seekers from hotels to military bases...

How about, rather than shipping a few hundred people off to military sites, we let asylum seekers work and contribute to our society and fix our broken asylum system? 馃

@eco-g Austria made the same mistake during Syrian refugee crisis. Get them taught the local language. Fast. Give them work permits and community integration assistance, and it鈥檚 both the right thing to do and makes economic sense. Instead they shipped them from place to place and paid hotels enormous sums of money to avoid been seen as soft political targets. Absolutely moronic. @patrickhadfield
