The American Red Cross has requested help from the #OpenStreetMap community to map buildings and roads in settlements across the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta after Typhoon Halong struck the southwest coast of Alaska on October 11.

Improving #OSM data about these places will aid in damage assessment and may also support search and rescue efforts.
