@stefano That might be a bit harder to do than VLAN. Last I remember VXLAN was only available as transport for distributed vSwitches aka Overlay Devices https://www.smartos.org/man/7/overlay Original Smartos Presentation https://fingolfin.org/illumos/talks/sdn.pdf and upstreaming IPD https://github.com/illumos/ipd/blob/master/ipd/0018/README.md

I have never set this up myself so depending on setup this might be compatible with the switch endpoint or not.
