Two shorts today.

First up: Le silence sous les écorces (The Silence Beneath the Bark) by Joana Lurie — a French short that went up for Oscars and won a bunch of prizes. I didn’t get it, but that’s kind of the fun of this project. Apparently it’s about two creatures discovering friendship and the world. Cute. Maybe profound. Maybe just really nice government-funded animation.
