What's a good (open source, self-hosted) platform for managing centralised authentication for a collection of servers?

Got a mix of Alpine, Ubuntu, FreeNAS, and Proxmox servers and I want to set up a central platform for user accounts.

Eventually I'd like to hook it up to FreeRADIUS so I can set up 802.1x on my wifi.
