@inquiline well it's nice to see that one of the ways to mitigate is the same: "Hepa air filtration systems have been found to be effective at removing microplastics"
@inquiline Huh… we line-dry our clothes and about a week ago I’d mused aloud about the lint that seems to get kicked up when I’m folding them, and the likely plastic content we’re breathing. Probably not the worst idea to look for natural fabrics where possible :/

yeah my understanding is a lot of synthetics shed when we wash and dry. i try not to buy much of anything but plenty of my hand me down clothes have synthetic fibers... nightmare stuff
