Sitting at the start of the Caboolture to Wamuran rail trail having a well earned rest; 48km so far today, with a steep hill near the end. Just had a little chat with a woman who’d just ridden the trail:
Her: “you’re all kitted out, how far have you ridden today?”
Me: “oh, just from Strathpine today.”
Her: “Strathpine!?!”
Apparently my idea of distance is umm… different.
