So, the Police *did* find the resources to arrest 335 peaceful protestors in London, despite the other (one might suggest) more important uses of their officers.

Still, there owe go; once you've decided to arrest peaceful protestors if you choose not to due to being stretched to thin, the not in that such arrests a political expedient rather to 'restore order' would become waaaay to obvious!
