Just updated to Bonfire RC 3 that has all kinds of fun things, including quote post consent and honest to goodness post migration built into the system itself. Looking forward to trying it out.

Bonfire pushed a big release last week, and I'm excited to try out all the new shiny things on my test instance.
Post migration and Quote Posts among them.
Request came through to allow the quote, but Mastodon hasn't released it yet....

2) Approved post in Bonfire.
3) Mastodon doesn't recognize acceptance
Does Phanpy have functionality to approve/deny post quotes?
@box464 if approved on Bonfire's side, Mastodon should recognize it… probably takes time? 🙈
There's no approve/deny UI/flow/API on Mastodon's side. I've asked & got this response "we included support for it in case someday another software wants it" and "(but we think it's not a good idea, as it means your quote can be displayed as pending for a long time, which is not ideal in a timeline-based network)" — which I think make sense. By the time it's approved, it's probably too old to be read
