Hearing has been delayed regarding the temporary restraining order for the National Guard deployment in Portland, OR. Judge Simon has set a hearing for 10am on Friday.

Local media is reporting that an Oregon Military Department spokesperson said that we can expect to see boots on the ground in Portland by Thursday.

NG with at least 4 charter busses have already been spotted as close as Tualatin.

OPB says they were told it would be Thursday at the earliest and more likely sometime next week until we see boots on the ground. They also said that it hasn’t been determined yet where the troops will be stationed or whether they’ll be armed.

Article also states that up until today, even police and officials had no idea what the helicopter was that’s been circling at night. It was only confirmed today that it is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection black hawk after the FBI arrested four people and handed them in to ICE custody after one of them allegedly shined a laser pointer at it from their home.

At least 166 Oregon National Guard members have volunteered for Trump deployment

Lt. Col. Stephen Bomar, director of public affairs for the Oregon Military Department, said Thursday is the absolute earliest the guard could arrive in Portland – but he wouldn’t bet on that.
