For last few decades so nuch critical/progressive/activist thinking has been invested in the power of #socialmovements. We have countless social science modules and publications on this.

But beginning to think: isn’t all this just part of the neoliberal con? Not resistance to it?That we are told - and believe! - that we can change the world through social movements, joining a march or whatever, when in reality it changes nothing whatsoever?
