The 2025 #IgNobel Peace Prize went to researchers who proved a popular myth: a small dose of #alcohol can improve foreign language pronunciation!

In their study, 50 German students speaking Dutch were rated by native speakers. Those who had a drink sounded clearer and more fluent, even though they didn’t feel any more confident themselves.
