> Edan Alexander, an Israeli-American soldier recently freed after 584 days in captivity, announced he will return to Israel next month to rejoin the military amid its ongoing ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza.
Alexander told reporters at a press conference, “My story does not end with survival; it continues in service until victory! Next month, God willing, I will return to Israel and once again wear the IDF uniform, and I will proudly serve alongside my brothers.”
Alexander’s release was part of mediation efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire, reopening Gaza’s crossings, and allowing humanitarian aid into the blockaded territory.
