I just discovered the most ridiculous shit while trying to export posts and subscribers from the Bridge Seat blog on SS. They will let you login as if you have an account, with any email address they can send a login link to. *Without* warning you this is creating a new account.
I just logged in using the wrong email address, twice, but because all @bridgeseat.nz addresse without an existing alias go to my inbox, I only realised when I couldn't find the publication settings 🤦♂️
