This image is a composite showcasing 48 different colors of the full Moon, captured by Italian astrophotographer Marcella Giulia Pace over a period of 10 years.  Pace compiled these images by selecting the most colorful full Moons she photographed, often when the Moon was rising or setting, or when atmospheric scattering caused distinct colorations.
