well the Pro 3s are out.
I have the 1st gen ones and they've been a rattling/staticy/ringy mess for a couple years. Can kinda clean them out and they're ok a tiny bit and go right back to sucking.

The 2s were tempting but I wanted more time before upgrading. (And have been wanting those detection/finding features too…)

Even if they were clean I think these suffer from some original issues I never had fixed under warranty. (didn't experience / know about these issues/fix until already expired).
