Nice discussion on what the roles of a reviewer are/aren't. A useful reminder as we approach #chi2026 review season w/ a record number of papers (more than last year's 5k, details soon I think it's critical to take your time w/ reviews,don't rush it,don't throw it into an LLM,think about the science in front of you, and not the one you wish they did (you can do that as a follow up!),and ask how it will advance the field of human-computer interaction.
