The complaint form Ofcom says you should use to report websites for violations of the #OnlineSafetyAct does not allow you to enter URLs, because it might be illegal for Ofcom to look at them.

What is going ON over there.

That online form saying that it's impossible to report URLs because of "the risk of being sent content we are not legally allowed to access".

Ofcom telling me that if I want to report my web page on AWS for noncompliance with the OSA, I have to use an online form.

I am surprised by this.

If Ofcom is saying that possession of the URL is problematic, then that is one thing, but the message seems to suggest that their concern is with *viewing* the page/image to which the URL refers.

In which case, not clicking on the URL, or using the form backend to sanitise it to make it non-clickable, would seem more sensible.

But perhaps I am missing something.
