@ai6yr In 1977 my parents got me a watch with red LED lights. It was expensive, but cool. I lost it somewhere when the band broke.
(Here is a photo of a LED watch that was like mine.)

I could track down the original, to find out how much it cost at the time. I have an idea, but I'm not certain of the brand. I DID find a fascinating article about the rise and fall of LED WATCHES & the rise of the LCD watches.
