FediDB is no longer susceptible to software that reports inflated stats, I built a Discord notification service that pings our team when one is detected so we can moderate them instantly, allowing legitimate entries while ignoring obvious fake ones.
Also, shout out to the few big servers that block FediDB and prevent popular accounts from appearing on our index.
Not sure that was their intention, after all, we need to improve discovery.
