Another big update: Elevation data outside Europe now uses SRTM with 1 arcsecond resolution, this is about 30 meters on the ground, instead of the previous 90 meters (3 arcseconds).
This means much more precise elevation calculations for your routes, especially in steep terrain!
For Europe, high-resolution data has already been in use for the past year.
