This Battlestar Galactica quote feels more relevant than ever… so I turned it into a sticker!

Grab the frakkin' file from my site if you'd like to print your own batch of stickers. https://docpop.org/2025/09/battlestar-galactica-and-the-danger-of-militarized-policing/#BattlestarGalactica

A sticker that says “There’s a reason you separate the military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, the enemies of the state tend to become the people.” The corners of the sticker are cut at 90 degrees, like an octagon sheet of paper.

A scene from Battlestar Galactica (2004), season one, episode two (Water). Commander Adama is talking to the President of the colonies. He says “There’s a reason you separate the military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, the enemies of the state tend to become the people.”
