@eWalthert Let's hope so. It's illegal to be gay in the UAE and even acts of queers kissing in public or cross-dressing in Dubai have been punished.

So, I don't know why any company would want to advertise such a place as a positive marketing trait. Looking forward to when they decorate their Dubai chocolate in rainbows for a "pride edition" to sell more.

Considering how that chocolate tastes ... It doesn't make me want to visit Dubai.

Eating it is like crunching sugar .... Maybe there's a parallel here to how UAE treats human rights. Not the silk-smooth, velvet feel of a high quality chocolate piece.

@matt Dubai Chocolate is absolutely divorced from its name giving city. It’s a pure #TikTok fad. Therefore Lindt probably also only sees the bling of corrupted Dubai x-pat influencers and their hedonistic lifestyle that is exempt from UAE laws.
