@deutrino If your decentralized system goes down when one server goes down, maybe it's not decentralized enough. 
@faoluin I did see one post claiming rooms are still up for people with accounts on different servers, not sure how true that is
however there are a lot of people rightly pointing out that the default signup flow in the official clients dumps everyone on matrix.org
@deutrino Yup, by default everyone uses the matrix dot org homserver, with Element's client and server software. There's so very little decentralization that it's almost a joke to call it a decentralized network.
