@Remittancegirl I had the fortune recently to learn of the work of Robert Longo. Amongst many powerful images, his depiction of a rubber dinghy carrying huddled figures in rolling seas elicited a great sense of empathy. Would that more people appreciated the hopes and fears of those desperate passengers.
