Okay, what's the latest on Bambu Lab 3d printers and the ability to use them without Internet connectivity or their cloud service? Local LAN access, I mean, not swapping sdcards by hand like a caveman.

@swetland I run the flatpak Bambu Studio and that's how I do 99%+ on the printer.

@lauren My main question is "does that software have to talk to a cloud service to 'authenticate'" or not.

Given Prusa's new take on open source I see no point in choosing their products over equally-closed but more affordable competitors, provided the device in question is actually functional without some cloud nonsense.
