Brain is bubbling with the need to write something comparing the fiestas here (Bilbao specifically but also the municipalities) and the festivals in Edinburgh.
They both have their fringe, but one is much more corporate and I want to tease out why. What's the essential difference between the Fringe Society and Bilboko Konportsak?

Also, I think #Bilbao tourism interests have the #Edinburgh festivals in their sights. Folk back home really shouldn't be complacent about being top of the heap. And folk in Bilbao who enjoy the free atmosphere of the txoznas should be aware that they're in the way of that plan (which may not exist but if I see it and the professionals haven't then I should invoice for consulting fees).
