So many huckleberries!
I got the plant at a native plant sale 9 years ago. It barely measured 2 in (5 cm). I honestly forgot about it, until years later the Kid read about the existence of huckleberry pie.
While figuring out where to go picking... I recalled I had one plant in the backyard! We got a handful of berries that year. I could not see how to get enough for a pie!
The plant has since then put a couple feet in height... and many many more berries 馃槉

Close-up of the branch of a huckleberry bush. The branch is completely lined with berries at different stages of maturity as indicated by different colors, ranging from green to brown to dark purple.

Two small plastic containers (aprox a cup each) full with small dark purple berries. The containers are placed on top of a concrete brick edging a vegetable bed.
