In general, I like netcup. The FediMeteo VPS rocks and they're quite reliable but....their IPv6 implementation is such a mess! Hetzner allows you to route, so each vnet jail can have its own IPv6 address. On netcup, I have never been able to achieve such a result.

@stefano I kinda tried with ipfw nptv6, before I realized no one responding to NDP on primary interface... And I gave up and disabled vnet. It's personal VPS with only couple of jails. IPv4 go through NAT, and IPv6 bind directly.

@anparker exactly, this is how I'm solving for the Fedimeteo VM

@stefano@bsd.cafe it only works with ndpproxy - if not, the addresses won’t be routed by the core router. It’s been a long time I used NetCup, but one of the last things included something like this for the NAT64 gateway/services at BoxyBSD. So, in general it works but is a bit tricky

@stefano Yeah they’re great value otherwise but that part really sucks. It took quite a bit of time to even get it working at all, I was struggling until I found this amazingly helpful post: https://paulwilde.uk/ponderings/my-battles-with-netcup-ipv6-on-freebsd/
