In the next three months, the Hyper 8 graphical editor will be turned into a proper desktop application. Last time I researched fitting technology for this I arrived at two contenders: Socket and Tauri.
The first has apparently been retired and their website now ominously states "Far-Edge Computing for Defense and Science" (didn't have that on my bingo card), so I guess Tauri it is (at least for the first exploration).
If you have any other pointers for a framework that will let me wrap an existing web-based UI into a native, cross-platform application
let me know! (I've looked at a dozen popular frameworks today, and didn't really see anything that sparked joy :), respectively some where just a bit too language-specific to begin with ..)
