Tomatoes. They should have been red a month ago, but better late than never. #gardening

A photograph of a mess of tomato leaves and shoots. Among it all are several groups of tomatoes. Most are green, but some are red.

Some have ripened. Not quite the same volume as two years ago with the cherry tomatoes, but the consistency of moneymakers isn't bad.

@jsbarretto Where do you live? Here it was too hot for tomatoes to become red.

@Irisfreundin South-West England. We did have a heatwave, but they're not usually as bad as central Europe. The problem over here is that we get *a lot* of rain, and climate change is only making that more intense. Blight-like diseases are the biggest trouble with tomatoes here.

This season's can of worms was the weather, again. A long period of dry heat followed by a week of rainfall gave some blossom end rot. Thankfully most of the fruit is salvageable, but it's a bit frustrating. My fault for not giving them enough attention this year.
