So when we talk about stopping the fossil fuel industry, it's not just because we must stop global warming. It's also because the fossil fuel industry has been directly responsible for countless horrors around the world, one of the many poisoned fruits of colonialism. And with the demise of the colonies it kept doing it by funding whatever regime would guarantee western interests, and keeps doing it, no matter the human cost.
