The attention involving Codeberg is still going on, and there is a LOT of support as well as some typical heated social media moments. Please, do us a favor:
- Please be nice to people that choose not to use your favorite service or treat them as if they committed a cardinal sin.
- Please don't go up to a random group of people playing Uno and get mad at them because you want to get included but they won't play Monopoly like you want them to.
Like, folks, most of you are using Mastodon. They're doing the same thing under the same pretext as us and could become "the next Twitter", but I don't see y'all saying that to them. :)
Plus, we're not risking the nonprofit status, not alienating the volunteers that don't want to work for companies for free (or the hobbyists that do it for the fun of it), and not putting the software projects at risk.
We'll adjust and manage and figure out how to scale up, as we have done pretty OK-ish so far. :)
