I'm kinda stuck at choosing my Linux distro rn, I was about to install #LinuxMint but I was told that it's unstable and without many updates and that Fedora is way better.
To be honest I just want my PC to be able to get Krita, Firealpaca and maybe some editing software running

@bulqa I think who ever told you that was deliberately misleading you. I don't know why but those statements are not true.

I've been on Mint since February and I get weekly updates. I've had no stability problems. You can check the Mint blog and see that they regularly communicate with users about progress on the next point update as well as the longer-term updates. If in doubt, you can look at the wikipedia entry to see that they offer updates on a pretty regular schedule.
