Yesterday I had one of the best views to date on the Finsteraarhorn (4274m) in the Bernese Oberland, the mountain I'm in love with. With its super sharp ridge it is for me the perfect mountain. Therefore it is my submission for #MountainMonday today.

@bergmeister I had the pleasure to climb it once in perfect conditions. For sure one of the big adventures. The hike over multiple glaciers to the very remote Finsteraarhornhütte. Then the ascent through the flank and finally the stunning ridge. Snd the view from the top.

@hoffmann Lucky you! Must have been an awesome view.

I'll probably never have the pleasure of standing on the summit. I have done some hardish climbs, but Finsteraarhorn is most likely out of my league.
