At the Farm and Art Market last weekend, I shared purslane pesto while seeking donations to #sun_mountain_farm_club. It was a nice way to get into conversation with people. The pretty cards, drawn by my coworker Jenny, have recipes on the back.

Small jar of light green pesto with a wooden spoon, next to a bunch of purslane and purple, pink, and green recipe cards with hand drawn images.

@Matt_Noyes that looks tasty 🙂
I love getting recipes at farmers markets! One of the best cooking books I have was in fact written by a farmer, and gifted to us by a farmer (through our CSA)

@Matt_Noyes so many 🙈
It has seasonal recipes, which makes it very handy. My top 2 favorites: Miso & Honey Glazed Radishes and Spiced Winter Porridge 😊

Best quote: "Sauces are the gateway to eating more vegetables".
