Can people please stop using the categories "men" and "femmes" or "men" and "women and femmes" to describe people's experiences/social norms as if all people fit into those two groups and there is no more nuance to lived experiences!?

Man and masc are not synonymous.
Masc women exist and absolutely experience misogyny.
Femme men exist and often have different experiences than gender conforming men.
Trans/nonbinary people experience transphobia and misogyny regardless of if they are masc, femme, or neither.
Factors like race, disability, socioeconomic status, where people live, queerness (and if queer people "pass" as cis and/or straight), and many more effect how people move through the world and are treated! Ignoring intersectionality is ignorant, offensive, and alienates people with multiple disenfranchised identities from discussions of topics where their input/experiences are some of if not the most important!

I don't care if you are trying to make a broad/general statement and dichotomizing those two groups makes it easier for you- it does massive amount of harm and hinders any meaningful discussion of disenfranchisement based on gender and/or presentation.

Just. Fucking. Stop.
