Rule/Principle 1
There is no ownership or exchange of ideas. Once an idea is public it belongs to everyone equally, it is everyone's idea. Criticism, debate, arguments against an idea, are not on the person that publicized it, but for that public object that was presented.
It is public domain.
Only a fascist dictator can recover it, delete it, alter it, they should fork it if needed just like FO software on a public git server. Nobody should have the authority to reverse the commit, even if it was a mistake.
What we get is a neoliberal model of owners of servers and the content published on it, treating published material as private property.
It is attrocious, even though the vast majority finds it "natural" and "logical". Their server, their property, they can do what they like.
The individual freedom perpetrated by neoliberal capitalism reproduced in counter-movements to capitalist domination.
It is a corrosive approach we must learn to avoid, at any cost.
