I made a change in OpenStreetMap and added the "ask for review" tag since I wasn't sure about something (how to mark an EV charger that is free for customers but you have to ask for it to be activated from the reception). Is the review such that if I just don't hear anything, then it was fine?

@nicd I suppose it's a best-effort thing. I once marked one change with "ask for review" as well, and it wasn't until a few years later that it was reviewed and confirmed 😅 In the meantime if one stumbles upon one change asking for review, they might want to read it with caution, as it might not be 100% accurate.
@marcos But how did you know it was reviewed? Did you get some notification?

[OpenStreetMap] <user> has resolved one of your notes. So… maybe it was a note and not a review request, then? 🤔 It was kind of a few years back

@mfuhrmann @nicd@marcos It's a bit of a neglected feature, I think. Maybe in some countries, there are more organized mapping communities, and they are watching the queue of such changes, but that's rare.

I try to look at the queue for my country every now and then and give feedback when I can, but I too forget about it for weeks or months at a time. 😊 🤷
