Snap from the garden this morning. We've now filled two 3.6kg tubs with blackberries and one 3.6kg tub with raspberries, and there is enough fruit still growing to double both those numbers. We've decided that we've got to start on the alcohol processing now to free up space so first up will be blackberry wine, brandy, and whiskey, then we'll look for a raspberry wine, then blackberry/raspberry blend. Maybe crumbles. Who knows?

A portrait orientation view of half a dozen raspberries on a cane, some ripe, some almost there. Behind, there's another cane with large, dark green leaves and a few bits of red showing more raspberries. We're in a garden so behind we can see some soil then bamboo fencing along a wall separating this garden from the neighbours. The backs of a terrace of Edwardian era two-storey houses fills the very rear of the view and there's a little bit of sky visible, a patchy mix of pale blue sky and thin, puffy white clouds.
