It is pathetically easy for law enforcement to engineer a circumstance where the driver used a car as a deadly weapon, to attack police, justifying violence and a flood of criminal charges. Juries and prosecutors seem to readily buy into it.

@ProPublica if they listen to the horrified children cry for too long they’ll start to feel like they are doing the wrong thing. I hope they see these children’s faces every time a child or grandchild cries for the rest of their lives.

@ProPublica one of these days someone in that position is going to grab their handgun from under the seat and blow a couple of those thugs away. Body armor and masks won't help against point blank in the face from a few inches away. They will be killed too, but will make a decision of suicide by cop rather than something like CECOT. All hell will break loose then. I'm not promoting that, just predicting. Individual people have their limits, and some are less than stable.
