i just did a fun presentation at work in which i talked about 'how i learned to keep doing things i suck at' and

i talked about how one year i decided to take a typography class thinking it was 'learn to choose typography' and then it turned out to be 'make a typeface'

i was the only person there who wasn't a designer, who didn't know how to use indesign, etc, but the instructor was so kind and welcoming she was like 'stick around, do something fun, i want to see what a 'non-designer' ends up making'

and i ended up making this

will i ever be a designer? probably not

but

i had a lot of fun and that's what mattered
