@ProPublica not sure if racking up legal bills for public schools is going to solve anything but I can see where you are coming from. Potentially a politically sentient government at the state level as opposed to a proto-Trumpeo-Christian collection of half wits might be a good start.

@ProPublica Lucky SCOTUS made it easier to sue public schools and school districts for not providing reasonable disability accommodations. Do parents need to start filing lawsuits asap. The only way the school system will change its behavior is if the affected parents attend every school board public comment, donate to organizations that support education reform, and file lawsuits when necessary. The school system gets away with this because normal people can't be bothered to show up.
