openSUSE Tumbleweed has been powering my mini PC (my main daily driver, with KDE Plasma) since early may and I am really satisfied with it.
I'd love to run one of the BSDs there, but this setup is doing great.

@stefano "Desktop" software availability is an issue on the BSDs... There seems to be a push towards better desktop support on FreeBSD, hopefully that would shake the other side a tad bit as well.

@scrutinizer my problem is just the lack of support for suspension and resume, but they're working on it.

@stefano OpenSUSE tumbleweed does work like a charm, you can try using xfce to make it less resource consuming
