I mean he said the reason he's not putting Pride flags on the Parliament is that it's "not a circus tent".
His foreign politics are quite OK (certainly a better ally to Ukraine than his lukewarm predecessor).
But inside Germany, he is simply Trump 2.0.
Remember that Trump looked more moderate during his first term. Eroding society and democracy takes time.
Merz is doing exactly that.

As others explained the cons who were behind pride flag prohibition and advocating it are never going to see this because they never use public transport (in fact they're opposing it with their policies).
In fact, that goes to show how much the cons have lost their touch with reality and how much they live in a parallel society.
Real people use public transport and real people embrace LGBTQ+ equality.
Fuck the cons!
